Pentabus and Rural Media have collaborated with Pentabus Young Writers National Group on a unique and exciting project exploring the process of writing, producing and directing digital shorts for social media platforms.

Through a series of online workshops, emerging writers have learned how to develop their storytelling practice, develop, explore and create original work that appeals to a diverse audience and produce this work to be share across mainstream digital platforms.

Each writer has developed three 90 second shorts that will be shared across Rural Medias Artflick's Channel on TikTok.
The micro films will be released online from 9 October 2025.
