Shropshire Bookfest are a local charity that deliver high quality, creative, classroom-based activities for primary school children across the county.
And the Bookfest Big Book awards are a child-led reading development project that aim to find the book published in the previous two years that children aged 9 –11 years old love the most.
In January we created five digital film workshops with the talented workshop facilitators Mari Izzard, Myah Jeffers, Ben Quashi, Izzy Rabey, Sierra Sevilla and with sets designed by Harry Pizzey.
These interactive film workshops will provide a range of ideas that will help children write and perform a soliloquy, condense a book in to a whistle-stop narrative, create a film trailer and more!
