
Ellan Parry is a previous winner of the Jocelyn Herbert Award and a Linbury Prize Finalist. Other designs for Pentabus include Each Slow Dusk and Milked. Recent designs include Rotterdam (Trafalgar Studios, West End), Magna Carta (Salisbury Playhouse), Posh (Nottingham Playhouse, Salisbury Playhouse), El Nino (Spoleto Festival, USA), the world premier of new opera Neige (Grand Theatre de Ville, Luxembourg), The Miser, ( The Watermill Theatre), Noye's Fludde (Southbank Centre, London), Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, ( The Theatre, Chipping Norton), The Secret Marriage (British Youth Opera), The Fairy Queen (Brighton Theatre Royal), Without You (Menier Chocolate Factory, London, and Panasonic Theatre, Toronto), Electric Hotel (Fuel/ Sadlers Wells, dir. David Rosenberg, national tour – costume designer). Forthcoming designs include Peter Pan (Northcott Theatre, Exeter) and new youth opera Landings (Glyndebourne). Ellan trained at Motley and Wimbledon School of Art.
Emma Stevens-Johnson has worked within film and theatre for over 20 years. She began teaching accents in London in 2002. Emma has worked on international productions such as, Fernando Meirelle's 360 degrees, the critically acclaimed films Submarine (Warp Film for Film4) and Brownian Movement (Circle Films), and Cinematics Production The Big I Am. She has worked for BBC Cymru (Monsters & Aliens), S4C (Jonathan), BBC Radio Wales and ITV Wales. She has coached actors from Californication (US Series), Game of Thrones, My Mad Fat Diary, Hinterland (S4C), Hollyoaks Later, Pobol y cym, Holby City, Disney and Spooks. She is Voice Coach in Residence for Theatre Na n'Org, dealing with both accent and vocal issues on all productions. She has worked on many occasions for Theatre Royal (Bath). Emma has also worked for Wales Millennium Theatre Company, Waking Exploits, Hijinx, Actorsworkshop, ASTL Casting, The South Wales Echo and The Western Mail. Emma is a lecturer in Voice at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She has a Masters in Vocal Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama, a PGCE from Cardiff University and is a graduate of the Oxford School of Drama.
Kitty Winter is a movement director, choreographer and director, she trained at Laban and on the MA Movement course at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Johanna has designed the lighting for the National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Sheffield Crucible, English Touring Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange and over 50 productions for The Royal Court. She is an Associate Artist for Theatre 503 where credits include The Life of Stuff (Offie nomination for ‘Best Lighting Designer’). Opera includes Porgy & Bess (Royal Danish Opera), Rinaldo (Estonian National Opera); Carmen and Kátya Kabanová (Scottish Opera). Johanna is an Honorary Fellow at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
